The Safe Start Program provides support for pregnant survivors and new mothers who are rebuilding their lives after experiencing human trafficking, domestic violence, sexual assault  or other forms of exploitation. 

Leaving an abusive situation while preparing to welcome a child can be overwhelming, and many mothers begin this new chapter with few or none of the essential items needed to care for their baby.

Through Safe Start, Ask Griselda & our sponsors help ease that burden by providing baby essentials such as diapers, wipes, formula, clothing, car seats, safe sleep accommodations and other critical infant care supplies. 

Each family is supported based on their individual needs and available resources, with the goal of promoting safety, stability, and a healthy beginning for both mother and child.

Beyond material assistance, Safe Start reflects our belief that every mother deserves the opportunity to begin their journey with dignity, hope and the support of a caring community.
